DAY 6 (Rest)

DAY 7 (Endurance)

c & s & Richard (our father-in-law:) – Hike, Crown Mtn., total time hiking: 8.5 hrs.

boysNote: Still lots of snow, but such a gorgeous day. Skiing down the side of the mountain was fun;) It was great to have Richard (visiting from SE Asia) out with us. In fact, Richard and I did Crown Mtn. almost exactly a year ago. It was at the very beginning of when we started getting out for hikes. I’d only done the BCMC twice before that. After however, Chris then started coming out (we started off a few weeks later with Crown Mtn. and the Hanes valley loop, backwards, and, as you now know, have been hiking out there ever since). So this was kind of an anniversary hike for us all. Neat to see how far we’ve all come in the last year.

I think that Chris is developing too much self discipline and determination to reach his goals. He seems to have left the Milky Way galaxy and gone to Andromeda or somewhere like that.
