Week 26 ( Oct 8-14)

Our schedules were a little off this week due to conflicting work times.

DAY 1 (Endurance)

c & s– This was the day we went on the hike up to Lynn Lake. 21.8 km, about 8 hrs of hiking. Was a blast!

Day 2 (Rest)

Day 3 (Strength)

Note: HST PSU’s were done back to back with the first 3 rds of DL. And I hadn’t meant to do max Deadlift today, but after I finished at 165 lbs (which is the heaviest I’ve ever deadlifted), I got curious. And just started upping it by 10 lbs each time. I’m tell’in ya, it was one of the best feelings I’ve had in a long time. Like something out of “Unbreakable”:) You have to understand, I knew this would be the only time I’ll ever see that dramatic of an increase, so I was soaking it up for all it was worth. And it felt great to have felt strong at 210 lbs and not be able to continue due to running out of weights. We’ll have to buy some 45’s for the next round of max effort.

DAY 4 (Strength/Circut)

Note: With Max Deadlift it was the same deal today. Chris guestimated he’d get somewhere between 185 and 195 lbs. Dude muscled thru strong to 210:)!
